Welcome Back, self!
I thought I’d take a second to welcome myself back to this blog. With the help of my live-in tech guru, I’ve moved my website from Square Space to WordPress. This is my first post using this platform and I have two more posts in the works. You see, I’ve got time to post now as I did when I was living on my cousin’s couch, jobless…minus the couch part. I decided to leave my production company position and forge ahead into a new career as an agent-in-training at a local entertainment agency rep-ping DP’s, Production Designers, and Costume Designers for commercials. Three weeks later I decided that just wasn’t the right fit for me; particularly that specific company…left on a good note and am looking ahead.
Anyway, with the encouragement of my live-in tech guru, I’ve decided to seek a few small gigs through elance.com, doing basic off-site admin and copywriting. Changing my site to WordPress is one step towards learning SEO values and honing that skill for copywriting. I’m also seeking out PA gigs in the meantime. It’s only day two of unemployment, so I’ve got time to bid before I have a real income freakout.
So I thought I’d update my small readership here and let you know that more random posts are coming. I still need to discuss the Pro Cycling Coaches BikeFit shoot we did two months ago, as well as other thoughts.
